Candle Making Workshop - Beginners

Love scented candles? Have you ever wanted to learn to make your own candles? Now you can! PictureThis Creative Workshop is bringing the joy of candle making to our studio so you can learn the basics of candle making. This is a beginners course so no experience necessary.

In this workshop you will learn:

The description of commonly used waxes and their pros and cons.

An Introduction to Soy Wax and it’s benefits.

An overview of the different types of wicks.

Discussion about the different scent options of fragrance oils, essential oils and dried flower petals.

Step by step guide to the process of producing a container candle including measuring correct quantities of wax and scents required.

Choose, mix and measure own scent combinations.

Create and hand pour two container candles.

The cost for this workshop is $35 (+taxes and Eventbrites fees) and includes step-by-step instruction and materials. You will take home 2 - 4oz container candles that look beautiful and smell wonderful.

In order to keep a good flow and ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve, we are limiting seating to 10 spots.

Requirements: Please bring a sweater or something with long sleeves that you can easily slip on and off.
