Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop

Have you always wanted to try your hand at making that fabulous chunky knit blankets that are so warm and soft you could just burrow into them forever? Us too! Join us April 27th to make a throw sized blanket all with your hands! 

Master knitter, Donna Leigh will be here to instruct us through the process of making our very own ridiculously soft blankets. No needles, no "arms of yarn".  We'll have a hot tea bar and light refreshments set up for the duration of this workshop. Sessions take around 3 hours, so plenty of time for sipping and knitting! The cost for this workshop is $90 and includes the 6 skeins of yarn you'll need to knit your blanket, the tea and refreshment bar, step by step instruction, and a great time. Your blanket will measure roughly 40"x60" (this will vary depending on how tight you keep your loops). You may purchase additional skeins to take home and add to your blanket. Additional skeins must be ordered prior to workshop.

To ensure we have enough time to get everyone's yarn and increase our chances of getting first choice colors, registration ends April 17th. 

We have several snack items available for purchase; giant soft pretzels, tortilla chips and salsa, gourmet popcorn, Ballpark all beef hotdogs plumped to perfection on the roller grill, as well as many other options. We have Italian soda's and over 30 flavors so you can create your own gourmet concoction. There's always coffee in the pot, regular soda, water. and lemonade or choose from our variety of Zero Proof wines and craft beers.

No outside food or beverage allowed in the studio.

This is an aged 16 and up workshop. To maintain good flow and get through the session we ask that everyone remain inside the studio during instruction. We will take small breaks throughout.

LATE ATTENDENCE POLICY: We will start promptly at 1 pm, so plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early. We understand things happen so please let us know if you cannot make it or will be late.

REFUNDS: You may cancel within 24 hours of purchasing your ticket for a full refund, after that, we do not issue refunds as we order materials as orders come in. If you cannot make it to event, we will pack up your yarn for you to pick up and take home. Yarn must be picked up within 30 days of workshop or you forfeit ownership. We are unable to store and keep track of people's items for prolonged periods.  No call/ no shows will receive no credit and forfeit materials after 14 days if not picked up. 

Bad Weather: If we are under severe weather warnings the day of the event, we will reschedule. We will post that we are rescheduling to our Facebook page and reach out to attendees.  For everyone's safety this is now our policy.
