Muggles Day Out - Ft. James the Magician

It's that magical time of year again where PictureThis Creative Workshop  is transformed into the Wizarding World. Last year was already over the top but this year we have even more decorations, more music, more designs, and our very own wizard! 

For Muggles Day Out we are inviting all wizards and their families to join us for a fantastic afternoon of painting and magic. James the Magician will be here from 1:30-2:15 to show off his award winning talents (check out James and his work @ www.jamesthemagician.com),

Following that we will open up the studio for Harry Potter inspired painting, trivia, and prizes. 

This event is not recommeded for children under 7 years of age. To avoid distractions during the magic show we ask that no infants or toddlers be present. Anyone being disruptive will be asked to leave until the presentation is over. 

The cost for this event is (+event fee):

$25 kids (17 and under), includes 12x12 project 

$35 standard ticket, includes 12x12, 20x10 or 12x16 project 

$50 Parent/ Child Combo Save $10 and includes 12x12 for child and standard medium for adult. 

Included with each ticket is your spot to watch James the Magician perform, your project, and participation in the trivia and prizes. We have several Harry Potter inspired designs to choose from for this event. If not a Harry Potter fan you can choose one of our other designs off the stencil wall. 

For this most magical of days, will have Butterbeers and Cauldron Cakes available for purchase. Ballpark all beef franks cooked plump and juicy on the roller grill will also be available. Don't worry, we have all the ingredients necessary for you to make your hot dog worthy of the house elves approval. We also always have a variety of other snacks and beverages on hand. 

We ask that there please be no outside food or beverage in the studio.

How this works:

Register here and pay for your ticket(s) so that your spot(s) is/are reserved. The day of the event please arrive by 1:15 to get checked in and pick out your project. James the Magician will start promptly at 1:30 and finish up around 2:15. We will then start assisting you in prepping your projects to begin. We will start trivia once everyone has settled and has the hang of what they are doing. Trivia will be divided into easy-moderate for the kiddos and moderate to harder for the adults. Food and beverages are available for purchase throughout the painting portion of this event. 

The last day to sign up for this event is October 11th by 10pm.

ATTENDANCE : Doors will open 20 minutes prior to start time. We will start promptly at 1:30 pm, so please arrive early. We understand things happen so please let us know if you cannot make it or will be late. 

Bad Weather: If we are under severe weather warnings the day of the event for the time the event is scheduled to occur, we will reschedule. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date we will issue a credit. We don't want anyone out on the roads in potential tornados or severe thunderstorms trying to get to us, and we cannot guarantee continued power during a storm to complete our projects. For everyones safety this is now our policy.

REFUNDS: You may receive a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of reservation. After that, WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS as we have to pay our entertainer, purchase materials, and begin prepping projects based on how many people have signed up.  If you cannot make it to this event and let us know at least 10 days in advance, we will issue you a credit, anyone cancelling past that may take their project home to do at their leisure.   No Call/ No Shows will NOT be issued a credit and will only have 14 days to claim their projects before ownership is forfeited. We do not have space to hang on to unclaimed projects. Any credits given past the 5 day mark will be up to the discretion of the facilitator. We appreciate your understanding.
