Pebble Art

Rock art, also known as petroglyphs or pictographs, has been used by various cultures throughout history for a variety of purposes. While the exact motivations behind creating rock art can vary, it is indeed a fascinating and expressive form of human communication and therapy. We'll be doing our own versions by selecting stones in various shapes and sizes, arranging them to create the scene we want, then painting and affixing the stones to the backdrop of choice.  We'll have a small variety of stencils available so you can add different dimension, texture, and embellishment to your piece. You are welcome to bring small embellishments to add to your art like twigs, buttons, etc..The cost for this workshop is $25 and includes your wooden board,  pebbles/stones needed to create your scene, paint, and use of all tools and materials needed to create project.
