Pet Portraits

Join PictureThis Creative Workshop August 25th, 1pm for a "Paint Your Pet" Workshop! Portraits are 8x8 mounted on a 12x12 board and framed. The cost for this workshop is $55 for one pet and then an additional $15 for each pet added and mounted on same board (as shown in picture).  You may have up to 4 pets on a project. The cost includes image conversion of your pet into a vector, stencil, pre-stained boards, frame, and use of all materials needed to complete project. 

How this works: 

Register here and select how many pets you are wanting. Fill out all requested info. Email pictures of your pet to picturethiscreativeworkshop@gmail.com with "Pet Portraits" in the subject line. Include the name for each pet you are submitting. The types of pictures that work best are as follows: Solid contrasting background (no other pets, grass, or distracting items). If your pet is dark, a photograph against a light background works well, and vice versa for lighter colored pets. The image needs to be clear with no blurriness. Please do not submit screenshots, thumbnails, or any image that you've added filters or stickers to. Originals work best. If we are unable to use the picture you submitted, we will let you know and request another image. 

We will reach out to you once we've received pictures and know they will work to get board color choices from you. 

You may choose whatever background you want for the 8x8 that your pet's image actually goes on,  but if you do not plan to paint in your pet with color and are only leaving the outline, we DO NOT recommend a darker color with light paint as it makes the image look inverted. EX; If you have a white dog, choose a white board and paint the outline black so the inside of your pet is white. If you do the opposite it will look like a negative. 

We have several snack items available for purchase; giant soft pretzels, gourmet popcorn,  as well as many other options. We offer a nice variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. We will not serve anyone under the age of 21 alcoholic beverages. Anyone planning to purchase alcoholic beverages must have a valid government issued photo ID. No outside food or beverage allowed in the studio.

To ensure we have enough time to convert everyones pictures and prep stencils and lumber, we are closing registration a week earlier than we usually do. The last day to sign up for this event is August 20th, by 10 pm.

We are located at 7 E. Main St., downtown Evansville, the same building as State Farm Insurance and Hen House. Parking is in the front of the building. We are on the lower level and there is elevator access to anyone who needs it.

LATE ATTENDEE AND NO SHOW POLICY- We will start promptly at 1pm, so please arrive on time. We understand things happen so please let us know if you cannot make it or will be late.

REFUNDS: You may receive a full refund if cancelling within 24 hours of purchasing your projects. Due to the customized nature of this type of workshop, we DO NOT issue refunds past the 24 hour mark as we begin prepping projects per order. If you are unable to make it to this event, please let us know ASAP and we will either pack up your project as a Takehome for you to do at your leisure, OR, you can complete it at one of our future, in-studio workshops. No Call/ No Shows will have 14 days to make arrangements for their boards, after that, ownership is forfeited as we do not have the space to hang on to unclaimed boards. We appreciate your understanding.
