Sip & Knit - Chunky Blanket Workshop

Have you always wanted to try your hand at making that fabulous chunky knit blankets that are so warm and soft you could just burrow into them forever? Us too! Join us to make a throw sized blanket all with your hands! 

Master knitter, Donna Leigh will be here to instruct us through the process of making our very own ridiculously soft blankets. No needles, no "arms of yarn". The cost for this workshop is $100 and includes the 6 skeins of yarn you'll need to knit your blanket, a glass of wine or beverage of choice, light refreshments,  step by step instruction, and a great time. Your blanket will measure roughly 40"x60" (this will vary depending on how tight you keep your loops). You may purchase additional skeins to take home and add to your blanket. Additional skeins must be ordered prior to workshop and for TAKE HOME ONLY. This is a 3 hour workshop and will take all of that. Please wear comfy clothing, feel free to bring a chair cushion or back pillow if you struggle with sitting or standing long periods. 

Registration will end 1 week prior to each date so we have time to order yarn choices.  

We have several snack items available for purchase; giant soft pretzels, gourmet popcorn,  as well as many other options. We offer a nice variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. We will not serve anyone under the age of 21 alcoholic beverages. Anyone planning to consume alcoholic beverages must have a valid government issued photo ID. No outside food or beverage allowed in the studio.

To maintain good flow and get through the session we ask that everyone remain inside the studio during instruction.

LATE ATTENDENCE POLICY: We will start promptly at 1 pm, so plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early. We understand things happen so please let us know if you cannot make it or will be late.

REFUNDS: You may cancel within 24 hours of purchasing your ticket for a full refund, after that, we do not issue refunds as we order materials as orders come in. If you cannot make it to event, we will pack up your yarn for you to pick up and take home. Yarn must be picked up within 30 days of workshop or you forfeit ownership. We are unable to store and keep track of people's items for prolonged periods.  No call/ no shows will receive no credit and forfeit materials after 14 days if not picked up. 

Bad Weather: If we are under severe weather warnings the day of the event, we will reschedule. We will post that we are rescheduling to our Facebook page and reach out to attendees.  For everyone's safety this is now our policy.
