* Stove Covers are not cutting boards. They are not food safe unless polyuerthaned and allowed to cure. We do not offer poly in our workshops.

* Stove Covers are NOT fireproof, please allow burners to cool completely before placing stove cover on stove. Heat will warp your stove cover, so please ensure burners are cool to touch. 

* Our Stove Covers are made from quality pine wood. Some of these boards have knots that could cause slight discoloration when stain is applied. Wood sometimes has areas that won't take stain or differs the color in certain areas. This is real wood. It will have knots, pits, and other imperfections. We feel this adds to the character of your piece and we will not cover these up.
