About the event
Do you have a Cricut collecting dust because you've been too intimidated to use it? Dig it out, dust it off and join us for a beginner's tutorial in basic Cricut usage. We are hosting 2 classes in an attempt to accommodate schedules. Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6pm and Friday, Nov. 10 at 6pm.
What you'll learn:
- Set up and connection.
- Design Space basics.
- How to find, import, and use fonts and cut files.
- Types of vinyl and their purpose.
- Weeding and application.
We'll be designing a ceramic mug using permanent vinyl, and a flour sack towel using heat transfer vinyl. Bring yourself, your Cricut Air 2 (or upgraded model), a laptop, power supplies, and a 12x12 medium grip mat (green). We'll provide the rest. This class will take roughly 2-2.5 hours.
The cost is $40 per person and includes your spot for the workshop and all materials needed to complete the two projects. Space is limited to just 10 spots per session so pre-registration is required. The last day to sign up is November 7 by 10pm.
Bad Weather: If we are under severe weather warnings the day of the event, we will reschedule. We will contact you about rescheduling and post to our Facebook page. For everyone's safety this is now our policy.
Attendance: You may cancel up to 1 week prior for a full refund, and up to 72 hours before for a credit. After that, no refunds or credits will be issued as we will have already purchased your materials. No call/ No shows will not be issued a credit or a refund.
