Jane Austen "Tea-vent"

Everyone loves a tea party and what better way to enjoy an afternoon with your friends than enjoying delightful tea, tasty treats, good conversation and a fun craft? You may choose to dress up in your favorite tea party garb (completely optional) as we have robes you can wear to protect clothing during our craft time. We will be dressed up in Jane Austen era dresses if that helps in your decision making.

We'll enjoy some light snacks made from the recipes of Caroline Jane Knight, Jane Austen’s fifth great niece, straight from the family’s cookbooks during Jane’s time, play some games and riddles mentioned in Jane’s novels, and paint a 12x8 literary or tea themed board. You'll be able to choose your stencil the day of.
