PictureThis Creative Workshop began when Shara’s aunt asked her to recreate a DIY board-painting experience for the family. A similar local workshop was too expensive for everyone to attend, but Shara already had woodworking experience and a vinyl cutter, so her aunts were confident she could make it happen. The first gathering was held in Shara’s pole barn with 13 friends and family members. Everyone enjoyed it so much that they did it again, then again, with each event growing a little larger. That simple family craft night became PictureThis Creative Workshop.

PTCW was created to provide affordable, hands-on activities for friends, families, coworkers, and community groups looking to spend meaningful time together while channeling their creative energy.

Today, PTCW operates as a fully mobile creative studio, bringing workshops directly to homes, restaurants, wineries, workplaces, community spaces, and other venues. Groups who prefer to create on their own schedule can also choose Party to Go kits, complete with the materials and guidance needed to enjoy a polished workshop experience without an instructor on site.

From canvas and board painting to candles, resin, sea glass, seasonal décor, and specialty crafts, every project is thoughtfully planned with quality materials and approachable instruction. The goal is not perfection. It is connection, laughter, experimentation, and the satisfaction of leaving with something you are proud to have made.
